The Top Two Benefits To Energy Upgrades:
Benefit Number One
Save Big On Utility Cost
Our energy upgrades were designed with savings in mind. The variable-speed pool pump alone is certified to use about 90% less electricity than a traditional single-speed—the decrease in usage results in less electricity consumed and lower utility bills all year round.
Benefit Number Two
Help Save The Environment
According to the U.S. Government and various organizations, all energy star products and most modern home energy upgrades reduce the number of greenhouse gases released into our environment. They also limit our reliance on dwindling fossil fuel resources and foreign oil.

Instantly Lower Your Electricity Bills!
The electrical and gas appliances we use to make our homes more comfortable can contribute to our energy costs in more substantial ways than we might imagine. For example, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) estimates that water heating systems account for almost 20 percent of the average home’s electricity costs. The DOE also says that as much as 50 percent of the energy the average home consumes is attributed to its HVAC system's operation. For these reasons and many more, PE Solar installs energy-efficient upgrades. These upgrades include:
- Blown-in and fiberglass insulation – Energy-efficient insulation improves a home’s thermal performance and reduces your HVAC system’s workload.
- Variable-speed pool pumps – By letting you control the speed of operation, these pumps allow you to use less energy to clean your pool.
- Hybrid heat pump water heaters can transfer heat from the ambient air to heat water or use electricity to generate heat when hot water demand is greatest.

The higher the R-Value, the better the thermal performance of the insulation. Most attics' recommended level is to insulate to R-38 or about 10 to 14 inches, depending on insulation type. We install R-30, add that to your existing insulation levels, and you'll be well above the recommended level.
