About The Job:
The PV Designer Engineer will be responsible for developing preliminary PV designs within CAD. As a PV Designer, you will create residential solar electric systems in CED based on templates and ensure all designs meet national/state/local codes and customer-defined requirements.

Your Responsibilities:
- Identify, prioritize, and schedule design initiatives around your workload.
- Make equipment determinations based on cost, reliability, and jurisdictional requirements.
- Work with sales, project management, and installation teams to ensure clients’ needs and internal deadlines are met.
- Provide technical input in the development of site permitting and interconnection requirements. Meet performance targets.
- Provide technical support to field staff when needed.

Your Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily and have
complete and thorough knowledge of design concepts. The requirements listed below represent the
knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with
disabilities to perform the essential functions:
- Experience in the PV Design field or similar work experience within CAD
- NABCEP Certified Solar Installer (not required but a plus)
- Proficient with Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, PvWatts, PvSyst, and Sketchup (not required but a plus)
- Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented, efficient, and reliable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player, ability to recognize how individual actions affect the team as a whole.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible and adaptable to planned tasks or
schedules changes.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work 40 hours per week or more if required.
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 20 lbs. unassisted.

You will earn $15.00 - $20.00 ++ per hour in this position, depending on your work ethic and experience. We offer base pay, healthcare benefits, dental insurance, 401K, and paid time off.
